THERE IS NO CRYING IN FILM MAKING

I cried last night.
Twice.

Two people called and said they couldn't make it this weekend to the festival. That would have been okay if it wasn't the Editor and camera operator. What the heck kind of production can you have without an editor and a camera man.

Okay. Breathe. Breathe. B...B....B...Brush off those final cut pro skills and go borrow the first cam you can get your hands on.
Done.

My brother from Virginia called. He said not to worry. It's just about the stories behind the story you're going to tell.

So what's the story behind the story that hasn't even been told yet? A creative kick in the pants. We can do this. I love this festival because it forces everyone to just jump in. In the end we'll make a film with whatever we have on Friday. And it will be dope. If only just to me.

Then someone else called and backed out. Damn...I didn't cry that time. Let's do this.
